DJI recently launched the DJI Air 3S consumer drone that integrates a suite of advanced technologies. However, the revealed information shows that it has a better image and performance quality than the flagship Mavic 3 Pro.
Moreover, DJI Air 3S features a dual camera designed for travel photography. The big change is the 1-inch CMOS primary camera and 70mm medium tele camera which both have around 14 stops of dynamic range.
The wide camera angle has 50MP effective pixels and f/1.8 Aperture with a 0.5m close focus point. Along with this, a medium tele camera has 48MP and offers f/2.8 Aperture and a 3m close focus point. The video is recorded in 10-bit at 60fps and 4K 120FPS, a good quality.
“The Air 3S’s dual cameras improve on the 10-bit and ISO image quality, capturing photos and videos with even more breathtaking details than the current DJI Mavic 3 Pro.”
Other features of DJI Air 3S reported by ZDNET are the following:
Approx. 80 minutes (with DJI 65W Portable Charger)
Approx. 60 minutes (with DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter and Battery Charging Hub)
The DJI Air 3S consumer drone is available for $1099 | £959 | AU$1699 with one battery, or $1399 | £1,239 | AU$2129 as a Fly More Combo with 3 batteries, a shoulder bag, battery charging hub, and a ND filter set.
