Oopsale Inc. is an agile force developing GoSklad, an innovative online platform where users can sell any product or service in hours with great convenience and speed. The company services clients across more than 20 nations. Egor Kondratenko, the visionary CEO and founder of GoSklad, shared his experiences and challenges he encountered while starting a business. He also shared revelations on the ways of breaking into the U.S market, and some sterling tips for individuals who want to launch a remarkably successful product.

How did Egor Get Into His Current Position and Select This Field?

His evolution was to build a growing interest in technology, which led him to step into venture capital. His motivation to step into it was thinking of creating a business back in 2014, a business given a push by a girlfriend. This was within the startup and venture where the entrepreneurial fire was ignited. Endeavours to set up his own business were, however, met with failures: this led to a financial crisis in 2017 that left them borderline homeless. But this was the experience that pointed the way for them into CRM systems and their implementation, which, as it turned out, would be the starting point for his career as a product manager.

Started a company that did the installation of SalesUp CRM systems and automated and digitized processes for other businesses. It also had its effect on the making of products that would ease operations for clients and the company itself. For seven years, he worked as a product manager, innovating and releasing new applications to the market.

What is the Style of Egor’s Management

He describes it quite positively as a people-manipulation style, being able to motivate people more towards the long-run goals rather than working short-term for money. He stresses that he gives his team independence to work, but is aware of everyone’s responsibilities and duties. This balance between autonomy and supervision is very important for the results.

Qualities Egor Values the Most In His Employees

Loyalty ranks high on the list. The second virtue with the lion’s share of trust is for those who have developed long-term relationships with the top. Responsibility is equally paramount; if one commits to doing something by some time, they are very much expected to follow through. Professionalism would complete the picture. One can hardly dream about succeeding in any profession without this issue.

Egor’s Advice for People Who Wish to Successfully Launch a Product

The first and most important thing is to do it. No matter what others say about the idea, the fact remains that one must have a special connection to it, and one must really believe in it. So there is no need to wait for the moment that may never come, conditions that won’t exist; one has to create those conditions through action. Action is the very essence of launching oneself into a movement.

Equally important is the presence of a united team, working towards a common goal. Without that unity, there would be no common understanding of what the task is and what direction to take, and this understanding is quite essential for motivation. Team members will need to be aware of how their contribution is significant and how the quality of their work itself matters.

They are putting their work on the line. Even a thirty-minute delay can stop shipments and sales from being carried out for many customers. Sales may not be producing suffering, yet delays in shipments could easily mean idle vehicles and couriers, late delivery, penalties, and costs. So the high-quality and stable service must be kept in place, and, in order to realize this, a united team is a must. Finally, understanding the target audience of the product is vital.
