super nintendo world at orlando

Way back in 2021, Universal announced that its plans for the Super Nintendo World in Orlando had been pushed back to 2025. Well, in a recent report, Universal has confirmed that they are still working on the project and have given us a sneak peek at what’s in store for us.

The video teaser by Universal Orlando Resort gives us a better look at the Nintendo-themed park section of Universal Studios. In the video, we can clearly see sights of the main Mario area as well as the Donkey Kong Country expansion. We can also see the three rides that will be available in this section.

  • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge,
  • Yoshi’s Adventure and
  • Mine-Cart Madness

The park looks pretty similar to the one we’ve already seen in Osaka, which will also be introducing their Donkey Kong expansion later this year.

While there is still no exact opening date for Universal Orlando’s Super Nintendo World, we hope that more news will be on the way as we come closer to 2025. Aside from this, Universal Florida will be opening its Super Nintendo World next year too, and this one is also expected to house the Donkey Kong Country expansion.
