A New Beta Version of VisionOS 2 Is Here!

Apple recently launched the second beta version of visionOS 2 on June 24, 2024, aimed at developers working with the Vision Pro headset. 

This update introduces new features like converting regular photos into 3D images using machine learning, making pictures look more realistic. 

It also includes improved hand gestures for easier navigation, especially in the Home View and Control Center. Travel Mode now supports train travel, simplifying usage for guests with saved profiles. 

Later updates will enhance the Mac Virtual Display with higher resolutions and larger virtual screens, akin to having dual 4K monitors. 

Additionally, the Vision Pro will soon act as an AirPlay receiver, allowing seamless content sharing from Apple devices. 

The Mindfulness app has also been upgraded to monitor breathing during meditation sessions using the headset’s camera, while Bluetooth mouse support adds more control options. 

These updates aim to enhance user experience and productivity with the Vision Pro headset, garnering excitement among developers and users alike for the possibilities of visionOS 2.
