Apple announced the new-generation iPad mini 7 is equipped with a powerful A17 Pro chip and Apple Pencil Pro. It’s the latest upgrade in the iPad series since the iPad mini 6 almost 3 years ago.
Along with the A17 Pro chip, the iPad mini 7 also supports Apple Intelligence. Therefore, Apple intends to introduce AI in every device including iPhone, Mac, and iPad. This step transforms the way people use Apple devices especially the latest iPad mini 7.

In addition to the features of the iPad mini 7, it comes with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. The integrated A17 Pro chip delivers a faster 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, capable of boosting 30% of high performance.
The 12MP wide back camera features Smart HDR 4 for “natural-looking photos”. The iPad mini 7 has a machine-learning tool to detect and scan documents and QR codes in the Camera app.
Furthermore, the iPad mini 7 performs 4x faster than previous iPads and “supports Dynamic Caching and hardware-accelerated mesh shading”. The powered Apple Intelligence includes Writing Tools, Clean Up tools, Photo Memories, redesign Siri, ChatGPT, Genmoji, and more to expand accessibility.
Apple’s new-generation iPad mini 7 with iPadOS18 starts at $499 with 128GB of double storage. The pre-orders of this iPad mini 7 are beginning today (October 23).
