On Monday, Apple released the latest software update, iOS 18 for iPhone devices. It comes with a host of features such as Home Screen and Control Center changes, new formatting in iMessages, a Photo app redesign, and many more capabilities.
At the June Worldwide Developer’s Conference, the teaser of the upgrades to the latest software was announced. However, customers still need to wait a few more months for the official release of Apple Intelligence.
Till then, enjoy the added personalization features to the home screen with the upgraded iOS 18.
Now users can place app icons and widgets anywhere on the screen, make an app appear larger, and remove the name underneath it. Unlike the limited color option aligned with the theme, there is a color-tinting option for apps and widgets. Dark mode extends to icons, or try the powerful group of controls and stronger connectivity with third-party apps.
Changes in the iMessages include adding animated effects to texts, more Tapback reactions to add emoji and sticker reactions, scheduling messages for later delivery, and RCS support for Android users.
Or use the intelligent categorization in mail with primary, transactions, updates, and promotions, which are grouped by sender in a new digest view.
The photo gallery is redesigned by creating a folder by topic, pinning a collection, or viewing the most recently clicked photos. A brand-new Password app for easy accessibility of all passwords, passcodes, and verification codes.
These and many other additional features are available in iOS 18 upgrade to empower users and enhance their iPhone experience.
