The Clicks Android Keyboard Case brings tactile typing to foldable phones

Many people say that this Clicks keyboard case gives the iPhone a Blackberry touch but does the company know that they want to venture into creating cases for Android devices? It is more reminiscent of that Casio Secret Sender Diary I wanted to have at the age of 12.

If users take a moment to compare a photo of Motorola Razr+ with the new Clicks keyboard case and squint a tad, they may catch the resemblance. The Clicks physical keyboard case was launched last year for the iPhone 15 Pro and then made available for the iPhone 16 Pro, but now its availability has extended to Android devices.

The first models compatible with the case would include the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro (not including Pixel 9 Pro XL), Galaxy S25 (and only Galaxy S25, as reported in the FAQ) and the Moto Razr+.

It is like a retro ‘electronic diary’ when used together with the keyboard case. Each phone model has its unique case, turning the smartphone into a completely different gadget when applied to that specific case.

The Android Clicks cases will have bright colors, from Onyx and classic black to Electric blue with grey accents, and even a vibrant yellow and purple option named Surge, apparently for LA Lakers supporters. It would not be a surprise if such designs were a shoutout to Rick Osterloh, Google’s Senior Vice President of Devices & Services because he is a known basketball fan.

The operation of the Clicks keyboard case on the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Galaxy S25 is quite like its iPhone counterpart. As soon as the keyboard is plugged into the USB-C port, it lights up and is good to go.

All of Android’s built-in keyboard shortcuts can be used to improve input. With that physical keyboard, the screen is free from the keyboard app, producing neater screenshots.
