The tech giant Google is here with a new AI video maker ‘Vids’ which it has been teasing about since this April. It is now finally available for Google Workspace tiers.
Vids uses Google’s Gemini AI model to create videos based on suggestions and document files. In this new era of AI, using Vids, you can now either generate a video from scratch or work with a pre-made framework to get a first draft going. Another interesting feature of Vids is the “Help Me Create” feature that can help you suggest a script on any video to get you started on your project.
The amazing video generator helps users create professional-level videos without the need to learn extensive video editing software or develop the necessary skills. The options aren’t just restricted to the templates, Google Vids make it possible to use your own photos and videos. It even has the option to record at the moment or just make audio tracks of your voice to accompany your video.
However, Google Vids don’t work from the ground up like Runway’s Gen-2 or OpenAI’s Sora which created the “Toys ‘R Us” origin story movie, but it is part of Google Workspace. This allows users to collaborate on a video project in real-time with other team members.
Google vids will soon be accessible and might take up to 15 days to be widely available across Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Essentials, Enterprise Essentials, and Enterprise Essentials Plus members. Furthermore, as suggested by Google, it is necessary to update your browsers to the latest version before using Google Vids.
