Newegg’s Nintendo eShop Gift Cards Spark Rumors Of New 3D Mario And Zelda Remakes

Newegg is a well-known online destination for electronics and gaming gear, which has recently updated the description of its Nintendo eShop Gift Card. The new text temptingly hints at upcoming titles that have yet to be officially revealed such as a ‘New 3D Mario, New Mario Kart, and a Legend of Zelda Remake/Remaster’.

This interesting information remains on their site and has sparked considerable excitement among fans. It seems likely that Newegg’s claims are rooted in speculation, especially given the buzz surrounding a potential new Mario Kart. It is fueled by the first look of Nintendo Switch 2 in the trailer. 

Enthusiastic Nintendo fans have been decoding every little detail. In addition to this, games such as Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond have been brought up. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was initially unveiled at E3 2017 and it has been confirmed for a 2025 release following an updated trailer that dropped seven months ago. 

Meanwhile, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is scheduled for release this year. It is still unclear if these games will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 or if they will also be available on the original console. 

As it was earlier noted, Newegg’s description likely comes from speculations that are based on Nintendo’s historical release trends and fan desires.
