Sony is ramping up to launch the much anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro, possibly to release as early as this fall. This next-gen gaming powerhouse promises to elevate gaming performances to new heights. PlayStation 5 Pro will launch nearly four years after the originally released PlayStation 5.
Games journalist Jeff Grubb stated that the PlayStation 5 Pro is likely to be announced shortly after the end of September.
“The last I heard, this thing is still coming out this year. More recently, what I’ve heard is there is probably going to be a State of Play, not a Showcase, by the end of September,” Grubb said on the Game Mess Mornings show.
How much more improved will the PlayStation 5 Pro be?
Rumors suggest that the PS5 Pro will feature significant hardware improvements, including a 45% faster GPU and enhanced ray tracing capabilities, which will deliver more realistic lightning and reflections in games.
Along with that, it is set to unveil the ability to support 4K resolution at higher frame rates and could even offer a performance mode for 8K gaming. The new features will also support ‘PSSR’ stands for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution and will be leveraged to make games visually sharper and more detailed without using much additional graphical power.
With enhanced capabilities, the PS5 Pro aims to eliminate jagged edges, offering a smoother and more refined look to upscaled content, enhancing the graphic experience for gamers.
With the significant technological advancement it brings to the table, pricing for the PS5 Pro is expected to range between $600 and $700.
PS5 Pro represents Sony’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming technology, setting a new standard for what’s possible in home entertainment.
