Sonos has been teasing in both emails and social media that its most requested product ever will be coming soon on May 21st. This new product can be none other than Sonos Ace, the first-ever wireless headphones that Sonos ever released.
Sonos is expected to launch the new Ace headphones in June, but given the company’s most requested phrasing, the fact that the headphones recently appeared for sale by authorized dealer Schuurman, it seems they’re coming sooner than that.
The launch this week could help Sonos with some of the ire that surrounded its new app earlier this month. The app was pretty much created as a companion for the Sonos Ace, but it had been missing some key features like the sleep timer or those related to local library management.
Sonos is also gearing up to release Roam 2 in June. The speaker will look pretty similar to the original Roam and Roam SL.
Aside from all this, there is not much else that the company might announce this week. Rumor has it that Sonos is also preparing for a TV streaming device, but it will not be coming out any time before this fall at the latest.
