Spotify and Instagram may introduce a new feature that lets you share songs from Spotify to Instagram’s notes.
Back in 2018, Instagram and Spotify announced their partnership to create an Instagram note option to share whatever you are listening to on Spotify. Now this feature will soon be available for the users.
Additionally, a reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi posted on X (formerly Twitter), “#Instagram is working on a feature that allows you to continuously share what you are listening to on @spotify through notes.” In the post “Share from Spotify,” the feature is integrated with a message that elaborates “Continuously share what you are listening to. You can stop sharing at any time.”
However, the feature is under testing process, and may not be sure that it will be launched to the public. If it is released, the users can share the song in real-time on Instagram’s notes, which are shown above inbox.
Moreover, it is worth knowing that Instagram has introduced this kind of feature in 2022. Users can share songs on Instagram’s notes and add songs to their profiles. Instagram allows users to add 30 seconds of audio clips to the “Bio section” using the “Edit Profile” option.
Apart from this, this new feature has reminded the old Microsoft Messenger or MSN. The old messenger also had the feature of sharing songs from family and friends, like Spotify and Instagram new feature.
Now, Spotify has collaborated with Facebook to allow users to see what their friends are streaming in a separate tab on their desktop. Spotify also continued to release more social features like commenting on podcasts to enhance social networks.
