Starfield’s First Ever Expansion, Shattered Space, Will Be Out this Fall

Bethesda launched the space version of Fallout “Starfield” in September last year and after hours of playing through all the quests, players have been waiting for a new storyline DLC for more in-game content.

Luckily, Bethesda had promised in December that there was a new expansion pack in the works, which had all the fans pretty excited. Well, it has been more than a couple of months and the game studio has finally given us word that the expansion pack will be released pretty soon.

Todd Howard mentioned in a comment that Bethesda is working on a Starfield update that will bring new shipbuilding features to the game this week. When probed further, if this was for the Shattered Space expansion, he clarified that the expansion would be released this fall.

Even if there is no specific date for the expansion, from Howard’s comment, we can surmise that the expansion pack might be released anytime between November 2024 and January 2025. Bethesda has so far only been fixing the bugs in the game as well as adding some tweaks that will improve the gameplay.
