CEO of Apple after Cook

A recent report from Bloomberg has just revealed that Apple might be planning to pass on its legacy to the next generation. There have been rumors of some names who might be replacing Tim Cook as CEO.

This report is based on conversations with many people who are familiar with the inner workings of Apple.

According to the report, John Ternus might be the most likely successor to Tim Cook as Apple CEO.

Ternus is presently Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering and has started taking a more visible role at Apple over the last couple of years. The report also describes that Ternus is well-liked within the company and has garnered praise from Tim Cook. Eddy Cue and many others.

Another key factor is that John Ternus is only 49 years old. This makes him the most likely candidate to stick around for a long time.

But, are there any other candidates besides Ternus?

Well, according to the report by Bloomberg, Craig Federighi and Deirdre O’Brien are unlikely successors to Cook, even if they are well-liked. And people like Phil Schiller and hardware chief Dan Ricco are at the end of their tenures.

That’s not all, the most likely candidate, COO Jeff Williams, is approaching the age of 61 and is likely to retire just a couple of years after Cook.
