Apparently, X Wants to Push More Users Towards Its Communities

According to a new report, apparently, X is rolling out a revamped version of its Communities features, which let users network around topics and each community has its own dedicated space and timeline.

On Thursday, the company announced that a number of changes are coming to communities. And, this includes all the improved discovery tools, recommendations, search, and sorting options, with other updates coming soon.

It seems that the main goal of X here is to encourage people on its platform to interact with each other more.

The Communities on X are an important part of making it the company we know today in terms of the data it has to offer. Elon Musk has already used this data to train his AI, the Grok X chatbot. It has real-time access to Twitter data from tweets and community posts.

But, that’s not all. By using Communities. The company could grow to become a source of information that could even rival that of Reddit.

With the new revamp on Thursday, X users will now be able to discover posts from new communities that are trending directly from their Explore tab.
