The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Although Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, the “Pro Plus” is priced in the midrange, it includes a number of high-end capabilities as well.

On Thursday, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ were launched in China. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC powers the Note 14 Pro variant, while the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC powers the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The latter receives a 5,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, while the former has a 6,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Also, IP68 is water and dust resistance grade is present on both phones.

One ARM Cortex-A720 prime core (2.5 GHz), three Cortex-A720 cores (2.4 GHz), four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores (1.8 GHz), and an unnamed GPU are all included in the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. In addition, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus has a sizable 6,200 mAh battery with 90 W wired charging capabilities.

A 50-megapixel Light Hunter 900 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel portrait telephoto camera make up the Redmi Note 14 Pro+’s triple rear camera unit. The phone has a 20-megapixel OmniVision OV20B sensor up front. Additionally, Xiaomi has used the same 1.5K curved OLED display as the Redmi Note 14 Pro. It is 6.67 inches in diameter and boasts a peak brightness of 1,200 nits (HBM) at 120 Hz.

Although Xiaomi has not confirmed global availability yet, it is expected to bring the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus to other markets later this year.
